💎 Why Choose White Glove Digitizing?
Your memories deserve more than a “one-size-fits-all” solution. With our White Glove service, you’re not just getting a digitization—you’re getting peace of mind. You’ll know that every photo, reel, and tape has been cared for by human hands, with artistry and respect.
At Photo Memories Preserved, we don’t just preserve your past—we elevate it.
Digitizing, redefined. Because your memories deserve White Glove care.
Why Digitizing is Important
1
Protect Against Loss
Physical media like VHS tapes, film reels, slides, and printed photos break down over time. Heat, moisture, dust, and simple aging can permanently destroy them. Digitizing preserves those memories before they fade or become unplayable.
2
Make Sharing Effortless
Once memories are digital, they can be shared instantly with family anywhere in the world. No more mailing tapes or passing around fragile originals — everyone can enjoy them at the same time.
3
Organize and Access Anytime
Digital files are easy to search, label, back up, and store safely. Instead of boxes of mixed media, you get a clean, organized library you can access on your phone, computer, or cloud storage.

⭐ How Your Digitized Memories Are Delivered
All digitized movies — whether from tapes or reels — are delivered through Projector, where you’ll receive 30 days of free access to watch and download all your files at no cost. After the 30‑day window, you can decide whether to keep a Projector subscription, but your downloads remain yours forever.
All scanned images — prints, slides, and negatives — are delivered through FOREVER in a free account created just for you. Your images can stay there permanently, safely stored in your own private library with no expiration.
To protect your memories long‑term, we highly recommend keeping three copies of everything we digitize for you. We’re happy to help you create those backups or discuss the best options before your project is complete.
You’re not just receiving digital files — you’re receiving organized, secure, and future‑proof access to your family’s most important stories.
How it Works
-
We start with a friendly conversation about your project — what you have, what you want preserved, and any special requests. This helps us understand your goals and recommend the best options.
-
Bring your tapes, reels, photos, slides, negatives, or audio to our studio. Everything is handled with white‑glove care from the moment it arrives.
-
Once we review your items, you’ll receive a clear, detailed quote based on the formats, quantity, and services needed. No surprises — just transparent pricing.
-
When you’re ready to move forward, you’ll sign the service agreement and make a deposit to begin the digitizing process. Your items are then logged, tracked, and prepared for conversion.
-
We carefully convert each item using professional equipment and meticulous handling. Every memory is reviewed, cleaned up when possible, and organized for delivery.
-
Once your project is complete, you’ll pay the remaining balance. Then you receive your beautifully digitized memories — ready to enjoy, share, and preserve forever.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Your digitized movies are delivered through Projector, a private, easy‑to‑use streaming channel where you can watch and download all your videos.
You get 30 days of free access to enjoy your movies on your smart TV, phone, or computer. After that, you can choose whether to keep a Projector subscription — but you can still download all your files for free either way.
Projector is for viewing, not long‑term storage, so we recommend keeping three backups of your files. We can create extra copies for you or show you how to make them yourself.
-
Your scanned photos are delivered through FOREVER, a permanent, private digital home for your memories. We create a free FOREVER account for you, and your images are uploaded into your personal library where they’re safe, organized, and always accessible.
Unlike Projector, FOREVER is designed for long‑term storage, so your photos stay protected for generations. If you fall in love with the platform, you can add more storage anytime — but your free account is yours to keep.
If you prefer, we can also provide your images on a flash drive or help you create additional backups.

Description text goes hereYes — almost everything is digitized right here in Post Falls, handled personally with the same white‑glove care you expect from us.
The only exception is film reels (8mm, Super 8, and 16mm). Reels are extremely delicate, and very few professionals in the country have the specialized equipment and training to handle them safely. Rather than risk damage with improper local processing, we partner with an exceptional reel‑conversion specialist in Seattle who works exclusively with archival‑grade equipment.
Your reels are shipped securely, tracked, and handled with museum‑level standards — ensuring they’re preserved with the highest quality and the utmost care.
Everything else — tapes, photos, slides, negatives, audio, and more — is digitized right here in town.
-
We can digitize almost every legacy format, including VHS, VHS‑C, MiniDV, Hi8, Digital8, camcorder tapes, film reels, audio cassettes, slides, negatives, and printed photos. If you’re not sure what you have, just bring it in — we’ll identify everything for you.
-
Because we are a White Glove, fully hands‑on digitizing studio, turnaround time depends on three things:
how many items you have,
the formats involved, and
how busy we are at that time of year.
Every project is handled carefully and individually — nothing is rushed or automated — so timelines can vary. You’ll receive a clear estimated timeframe with your quote, based on your specific items and our current workload.
-
Yes — in many cases we can repair broken VHS tapes, stuck reels, or torn photos so they can be digitized. Some damage is too severe to fully restore, but we’ll always evaluate your items and let you know what’s possible before we begin.
-
Yes — we can digitize moldy tapes for an additional cleaning fee. Most large companies refuse mold‑contaminated media, but we have the tools and experience to safely clean and process them. Moldy tapes should be handled quickly to prevent further deterioration.
-
No — once your project is delivered and approved, we delete all working copies to protect your privacy. Your memories belong to you, and we never store or archive client files long‑term.
Because we don’t keep backups, we strongly recommend saving three copies of your digitized files. We’re happy to create extra copies for you or show you the best ways to back them up at home so your memories stay safe for years to come.
